Waldron Center Portfolio

At the end of the spring semester of my Junior year at Harding, the director of the Waldron Center Jon Wood asked me to work for him as the center’s in-house copywriter and brand ambassador.

The Waldron Center’s mission is to support entrepreneurs in the Harding community by connecting them with opportunities on and off campus, and the Waldron Ambassadors help drive forward the center’s mission through storytelling and event planning.

I completed the following objectives:

  • Published and distributed four newsletters and six blog posts for an online audience of over 300 readers.
  • Expanded the Waldron Community through community marketing efforts — student pop-up shops, gift card raffles, “Treat Yourself Tuesday,” and seasonal student markets.
  • Interviewed student entrepreneurs and researched entrepreneurial trends.
  • Collaborated with artists and student workers on all events, publications and media.
